Content Warnings for OLD WOUNDS

Old Wounds is a novel about two teenagers who find themselves tasked with surviving a pseudo-cult and mysterious creature living in their woods. This novel contains the following:

• Transphobia (misgendering, targeted violence, physical abuse)
• Use of homophobic and transphobic language, including some slurs
• Sexual assault (attempted/implied)
• Misogynistic violence and rhetoric
• Multiple references to suicidal thoughts and actions
• Abusive family dynamics, as well as repeated references to and discussion of the loss of a parent.
• References to the murders of Brandon Teena and Rae'Lynn Thomas, as well as the suicide of Leelah Alcorn
